1Open your control panel in Windows.
- Open the Start Menu on Windows 7 or older and select Control Panel.
- On Windows 8, open the Metro Surface and click "All Apps". Select Control Panel.

2In the search box on the top right, enter "Remote".

3Click on "Allow remote access to this computer" to open the Remote Access Settings.

4Uncheck the Checkbox "Allow remote support connections to this computer".

5Click "OK" and your computer will no longer accept remote desktop connections.
